The Mystery of Holy Island

Holy Island changes according to the tide. For part of every day, the road disappears beneath the sea and the island becomes separated from the mainland.

That real transformation gives Lindisfarne a natural sense of suspense. A visitor must watch the crossing times, respect the landscape and remember that the route home will not always remain open.

The Holy Island Goblet

In the second Crowe Chronicles adventure, Evelyn, Elliot and Ozzy follow seven carved birds towards a goblet lost for seventy years. Professor Crowe has already reached the island—and the tide is beginning to turn.

The setting allows history to become part of the puzzle rather than simply a backdrop. Roads, ruins, old records and the sea itself all shape the mystery.
